Giving ~ Helping Those In Need

Hello,
My friend My-Phuong N. brought this website, Life Impact International, to my attention. This organization focuses on helping children, women, orphans, and refugees in Asia, primarily in Thailand/Burma border at this time. The problem these groups of people are facing is quite scary.
I want to bring awareness to the problems that are happening globally. If this touches your heart, please support their cause. There are so many organizations out there that needs our support to help those in need. If monetary means is not an option at these time, there are also many volunteering opportunities available. Here are a couple of sites that I found helpful.
Volunteer in Your City – Find opportunities near you by zip code search. (www.Servenet.org)

Volunteer in California – (www.Volunteermatch.org)

Volunteer Center of Los Angeles (www.vcla.net)

Volunteer Center of Orange County (www.volunteercenter.org)

If you want to coordinate a volunteer outing, let me know!

  1. Given your topic, I'd like to point out a resource which might be of interest if your readers are looking for high impact volunteering opportunities.

We recently launched Zoosa (www.zoosa.org) as a single destination for all social enterprise resources: news, blogs, actions/ideas, tweets, and jobs / professionals skills-based volunteer opportunities in the clean-tech, education, government, health care, and nonprofit sectors. Thanks to our partners, we already have several thousand volunteering opportunities & social enterprise resources posted!

I'd love to hear your feedback if you get a chance to visit our site!
